Ormai al Royal Baby è stato dato un nome (più d’uno, a dire il vero: George Alexander Louis, così l’Inghilterra avrà un altro re Giorgio); peccato, perché, oltre al bellissimo Brucespringsteen e al passe-par-tout Steve, i duchi di Cambridge avrebbero potuto dare al piccolo un nome springsteeniano, che lo avrebbe reso subito popolarissimo fra i sudditi e i nobili di tutta Europa; senza contare che Bruce gli avrebbe senz’altro fatto cantare Waiting alla prima occasione.

Mi sembra un’opera immane, o detta in altri termini, un’enorme perdita di tempo. Ma come dice il commissario Adamsberg (l’autrice è Fred Vargas, se non lo conosci te lo consiglio caldamente) perdere tempo non è mai una perdita di tempo! Soprattutto se si ragiona di Bruce e delle sue canzoni.
